About Us

Healthpath Medical Group was founded by 2 doctors, who shared a common vision towards providing affordable, quality and holistic healthcare to the public. Healthpath Medical Clinic and Surgery (Ang Mo Kio) is currently helmed by Dr Wu Yingjie and Dr Wong Wooi Seng

Dr Wu Yingjie (Resident Physician)

MBBS (National University of Spore)

Member of Royal College of Surgeons (Ireland)

Dr Wu graduated from National University of Singapore Faculty of Medicine in 2007, and his previous clinical rotations included Internal Medicine, General Surgery and Orthopaedics, where he managed various common acute medical conditions from pneumonia, asthmatic and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (smoker’s lung) exacerbations to acute surgical conditions such as abscesses, bleeding piles, post operative related complications to sports-related musculoskeletal injuries and even acute fractures. Chronic disease management included poorly controlled diabetes and hypertension (high blood pressure), hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), eczema, chronic back pain, and common Orthopaedics related tendon inflammatory conditions such as De Quervain’s and trigger finger.

He also underwent in-depth surgical training and rotations in other sub-specialities including Cardiothoracic Surgery in National Heart Centre, Emergency Medicine and Urology in Singapore General Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital respectively. At the same time, he sat for his postgraduate surgical examination back in 2010, and was conferred as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Ireland). He subsequently continued with his surgical rotations, successfully completed his Basic Surgical Training (BST), and worked as a Surgical Registrar under the Advanced Specialist Training (AST) Programme back in Tan Tock Seng Hospital all the way till 2013. Back then, he was able to perform more complex surgical procedures for his patients, and is thus able to counsel his patients better if the need arises in his current clinical practice.

Dr Wong Wooi Seng (Resident Family Physician)

MD (UKM) Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (Spore)

Dr Wong graduated from National University of Malaysia in 2009, and served as a Medical Officer in Malaysia for 3 years before coming to work in Singapore. Here, he went through multiple clinical rotations in various medical and surgical sub-specialties, gaining valuable experience in institutions such as Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Changi General Hospital. He subsequently left the government healthcare system, and moved on to join a private medical group where he continued to hone his clinical acumen as a General Practitioner. He has also been conferred the title of a Family Physician by MOH Singapore after obtaining his postgraduate diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM) in 2018, and is also currently one of the few designated medical examiners (DME) for Civil Aviation Authority in Singapore.

His areas of interest include Acute & Chronic Disease Management, Minor Surgical Procedures, Preventive Medicine and Musculo-skeletal Diseases.

In addition to managing acute medical and surgical conditions in the hospitals, both resident doctors firmly believed that public healthcare was the core foundation of all medical sub-specialty practice. It was the best way to be in touch with the community and a challenge to get a breath of various medical conditions and their management
